About Us
In 2004 we started making our own toys here in Australia, after many unsatisfactory experiences with cheap imported ones that lasted only minutes with our birds. Our flock grew and so did our range of handmade toys. Through trial and error, we discovered the destructive power of each species and purchased our components accordingly. All parrots have different levels of destructive ability and our toys are graded to specific species' strengths, needs and likes. Each toy is field tested on our own parrots. If Lexi (Alexandrine), Tilly & Egbert (Eclectus's), Wally (Galah) or Tiko (Conure) amongst others give it their seal of approval, it’s a go’er.
We are also proud to offer specially designed toys for unfortunate disabled and injured parrots.
We make toys for birds from the smallest finch all the way up to the most majestic Macaw and only the safest parts are used in their construction. All natural wood is hygienically cleaned, we have toxicology reports for our coloured wooden parts. All hardware is either stainless steel or nickel plated, and leather is veggie tanned. If there is the slightest doubt about the safety of a part... we don't use it. We love our birds and we know how much you love yours.
